During my driving license lessons today we were talking about bullshit driving rules that everyone knows since they're 5. But suddenly the instructor brings up to our class something so interestingly amusing that I couldnt help myself and pissed on my pants.
What the instructor told us (and I later checked) is that it is a crime, I really must underline this here, A FUCKING CRIME to call another citizen of Portugal any derogative names. If this happens and there is evidence and proof the case will be dealt with in court. Furthermore it also is A CRIME to spit on the streets, and will be dealt in the same way as the aforementioned CRIME.
Now...it might not sound that funny. But! I can assure that you will not find a single policeman in Portugal that does not spit every five minutes on the floor (Including inside cars, yes they actually open the window to spit...quite often!). In addition, it is very common to find policeman around when a fight is taking place and many "derogative" names are being called to one another and even sometimes, including the policeman himself if he can be bothered to try and stop the fight.
I have never heard anyone getting a ticket or whatever for any of the above. I have spat in front of policeman and called someone pretty nasty names in front of "Agents of Authority", as we call them here (No Ted, it isn't fucking Spain).
Now about Nat's idea. I like it and agree with it and bla bla bla...but I also like the way it has been so far. I have to say that I feel pretty interested on what Poleo or Jon smoked lat night and how much fun they had and how they felt. Basically what i like is to know what has been happening with everyone, or know they're feelings towards something or a situation, what they're about to do...those sort of things. Those things make me, in a certain way, feel as if everyone is "around" I know what is up and I sort of can still feel and say - Hej, I know this idiot, still the same. Glad he had such a good time at a Cap Empire Concert. - or whatever.
Hope you get my point. I'm a bit tipsy now went to take care of a private party stuffs
See you
